Turella

Turella was delivered by the Finnish shipyard, now MEYER TURKU, in 1979. It was originally built for SF Line, but it’s been sold and renamed many times over the decades. In 2017, the cruise ferry joined the fleet operated by the Greek shipping company Ventouris Ferries, and it’s since been travelling back and forth between Bari in the south of Italy and the Albanian city of Durrës.

The hull of the ship formerly known as “Turella” has a 1A ice class rating, which means it can also be used on routes with adverse ice conditions.
