14.02.2025

In a few days AUSKA III (NB721) will leave Papenburg for the sea trial. The current schedule for the Ems conveyance/sea trial/laytime is as follows:

  • Ems conveyance: 02.03.2025
  • Laytime Emshaven: 04.03.2025 – 09.03.2025
  • Seatrial: 09.03.2025 – 18.03.2025
  • Laytime Emden: 18.03.2025 – 10.04.2025

However, we would like to point out that these are preliminary dates, which may have to be adjusted again.

As usual in the past, MEYER WERFT will also set up a bus shuttle for NB721 for the transportation of PASSENGERS to Eemshaven and Emden. However, the fact that a PAID, BINDING REGISTRATION must be made 48 hours in advance has changed. Registration can be made by e-mail to anmeldung-probefahrt@meyerwerft.de or on site at the hotel container. The cost of the passenger transport will be €7 per outward or return journey.

If you do not register, you will not be transported and will have to organize your own transport. For the trip to Emden, for example, the Westfalenbahn (train) can be used, which runs directly to [Emden Aussenhafen] several times a day.

Important information

Registration for boarding (cabin/commuter)

Registration for boarding can only be made via the responsible persons at MEYER WERFT. Boarding passes cannot be issued without prior registration. All persons who receive a cabin on board must have seen the safety film in advance. This is indicated by a sticker on the boarding pass. Access on board is not possible without this sticker. This is no longer required after the sea trial.

Accommodation on board

Bed linen and towels will be provided in the cabins. The shipyard will provide the housekeeping service and will clean the cabins and wet rooms every three days at the latest. The cabins are adequately protected with covers. It is not allowed to remove this protection. Washing of private clothes and work clothes will be possible on board in a crew laundrette (information will be posted on board). Please note that no detergent will be provided. Therefore, please bring your own detergent. There is also no longer a laundry container in the harbor.

So that we do not block any cabins unnecessarily, we reserve the right to vacate and reassign cabins of persons who have not been on board for more than 36 hours without informing our hotel team. Please remember to check out when you finished completly. This is possible in the hotel container at the pier or at the gangway.

Catering

Catering will take place on board in the Lido Deck 11 "Ems Garden and Grill". Soft drinks will be available during the meal, limited to 2 cans per person and per meal.

Water will be available twice a day in a designated store (with & without gas). Internet and television

We provide a wifi that can be used by the entire Meyer Werft team and partner. It will not be possible to stream movies, but it will be possible to stay in touch via social networks. Telephony will also be possible. The prerequisite for this is, of course, that we as a team complete the systems in a timely manner. There will be no televisions in the cabins on this ship. There is no television installed in the cabin.

What is not allowed?

Drugs, alcohol and weapons are not permitted on board. Persons found to be under the influence of alcohol will be subject to a breath test. The permitted limit for access to the ship or port area is 0.5 per mille.

Technical devices such as kettles, games consoles, irons, etc. are not permitted. Shavers, hair straighteners, curling irons and hair dryers are permitted, but should be packed away again after use.

Smoking in the cabins and outside the designated areas is not permitted. Walking around with open beverage cups on board is also prohibited.
