Undine
In 1966, MEYER WERFT delivered two structurally identical ships to the Bremen-based shipping company Wallenius: Salome and Undine. The latter was extended by twelve metres just two years after completion.
Wallenius sold its car and passenger ferry to a Belgian firm in 1979. Undine was then bought by a Lebanese shipping company in 1982, when it was converted into a cattle transport vessel and renamed “Rabunion”. In 1991, the ship formerly known as “Undine” sank after a collision in Bosporus.
