Disney Cruise Line has commissioned MEYER WERFT with the construction of a fourth ship in the Wish-Class, which will be delivered in 2027. Similar to the other vessels in the class, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, the fourth ship will feature an eco-friendly LNG drive system.
MEYER WERFT constructed two cruise ships for the American shipping company back in 2010 and 2011: Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. They became the largest ocean liners ever built in Germany at the time of their completion. The three vessels in the Wish Class will be even bigger.
The first ship in the class, the Disney Wish, was delivered in 2023. The second ship in this class, the Disney Treasure, will follow in 2024. Disney Destiny will be completed in 2025.
