Color Fantasy
Yard number 1351 was completed at today’s MEYER TURKU in late December 2004. Color Fantasy was built for Color Line, and the shipping company was quick to dub its new vessel “the cruise ship with a car deck”.
As a matter of fact, Color Fantasy and its sister ship – Color Magic – are more like cruise ships than ferries in many ways. They’re 224 metres long and 15 decks high, and they feature around 1,000 cabins in different categories. Passengers on board the cruise ferries can also choose from eight restaurants, various bars and a wide range of shops.
Color Fantasy has a 1B ice class rating (suitable for normal ice conditions), and the ship was fitted with so-called “scrubbers” in 2015 to reduce its sulphurous emissions.
