MS Eilbek goes to Sea River Ems Passage on Sunday
Papenburg, 16.01.2005 - On Sunday, 16th January 2005, MS Eilbek, the first unit out of a series of four 16,000-TEU container ships, is going to leave MEYER WERFT towards the North Sea. The passage down the River Ems will be non-stop thanks to the Ems barrier. Depending on the tide, the passage schedule will be as follows:
Sunday, 16 th January 2005 10.30 h - Passing the lock (Papenburg) 12.00 h - Passing "Friesenbrücke" (Weener) 13.30 h - Passing "Jann-Berhgaus-Brücke" (Leer) 16.45 h - Passing the Ems barrier (Gandersum) 17.30 h - Passing Emden (Ostmole) (Subject to wind and weather conditions, hence without engagement. Times may vary).
