Conveyance likely to start on early Saturday morning
Papenburg, 18 June 2009 - The new passenger cruise vessel Celebrity Equinox is likely to leave Meyer Werft early in the morning of Saturday, 20 June 2009 to sail down the river Ems to Eemshaven (Netherlands). The conveyance of the Celebrity Equinox on the river Ems will take place in one go, assisted by the Ems barrier. Also the Celebrity Equinox will sail down the Ems backwards. Conveying the ship in this manner has proven its worth because she is easier to manoeuvre in this way. During the conveyance the ship will be assisted by two tugs.
